American Idol Season 11 Auditions - Aspen

The Auditions for this year for me was kinda boring, like San Diego Auditions, this city doesn't blew me away.

The Producers should pass forward it to Hollywood (which is my favorite part, lol) before they loose audience.

Well, Here's my review of the people who make it to Hollywood :

Jenni Schick
She sang "Heartbreaker" which is I think was a little shaky, the judges love her and she got a kiss from Steven Tyler.

Curtis Gray
I kinda like his voice and I think his phrasing was good.

Richie Law
What! Another Scotty McCreery. No. Sorry. Next?

Devan Jones
The guy is quite impressive. He sang The Script's "The Man Who Can't Be Moved", he got this great voice control and great tone. My problem with this audition is the lack of emotions.

Mathennee Trego
Well, he's good! There's a tendency that he can over sing a song which is quite annoying.

Haley Smith
Her voice was very unique which is I kinda like. But the audition for me was a little bit awkward, I hope she could play a instrument during Hollywood Week.

Shelby Tweten
Her sobbed story is she is suffering bipolar disease (OK!). The girl is emotional singing Carrie Underwood's "Temporary Home"  and I think she did great.

Jairon Jackson
The original song was a bit catchy. His tone was generic I think almost all RNB male musicians has a tone like that.

Angie Zeiderman
The first song was crazy and entertaining. I found myself laughing with the whole Broadway routine. The second song shows her potential which is pretty good.

American Idol Season 11 - Auditions - San Diego

San Diego is the third audition spot for American Idol.
I think this audition is a total waste of time. There is only a few stand out auditions and I was bored the whole episode.

So Here's my review of the people who make it to Hollywood :

Ashley Robles
She sang "I Will Always Love You" which is pretty good but i think she is too old fashioned type of singer.

Jayrah Gibson
He is a Pop and R&B artist, the judges love him and I really don't get it, he's not that good and too annoying.

Aubree Dieckmeyer
Well, she is beautiful and she wanted to be the next America's Top Model (lol). The judges all voted yes to her especially J.Lo. she is quite good singing "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble.

Ali Shields
The Ghetto dance is hilarious. She rap "Look At Me Now" which is okay and she sang "Like A Star" which is not so good as the judges think. Next?

Kyle Cruz
He's good but nothing special. Next!

Jane Carrey
Oh, she's the daugther of Jim Carrey. She's pretty good but her voice is not American Idol Material.

Jason Hamlin
He's good but it's did'nt work for me. A little boring.

American Idol Season 11 : Auditions - Pittsburgh -

The second location of the audition this year is in Pittsburgh.

The auditions at Pittsburgh was superb, Golden ticket after Golden Ticket that's insane, no wonder it is "The City of Champions."

So Here's my review of the people who make it to Hollywood :

HeeJun HanI love his personality. I was surprised with him because I expect that he is one of those joke auditioned. When he sing "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" by Michale Bolton, I was impressed, his voice is soulful. And he is very much likable.

Reed Grimm
He was crazy for picking "Family Matters" as a audition piece. He's quirky audition is so good, he was very passionate about music. I think he will be the Casey Abrams of this season,

Samantha Novacek
Is her sister Planking while she's singing? I think she's good, quite impressive and I love her tone.

Creighton Fraker
He compose a song because he cannot pick a song(Meh!). I hate to admit it but he was annoyingly good.

Eben Franckewitz
He doesn't look like Justin Bieber. He was good singing "Ain't No Sunshine", I'm not jumping up and down though (Hello Simon Cowell!). Parents and teenage girls will love hin.

Travis Orlando
Travis audition again and as expected he had a sobbed story. He sang "Isn't She Lovely" which I think is pretty good. I hope he make this far this time.

Erika Van Pelet
She sang "Will You Still Love Me Tommorow" by Carole King. Her alto voice is Amazing, I love her and the judges like her so much especially Steven Tyler who singing along with her. Looking forward to her on the Hollywood Rounds.

Hallie Day
I suppose to love her, because her name is Hallie Day, sounds like Holiday(Okay, I'm Corny!). She sang I Will Survive, the judges love her, she have this strong vocals and a sobbed story.

American Idol Season 11 - Savannah - In This Song

American Idol is Back and I'm back to blogging. Sorry for being MIA for i think a month, there's a lot of office work and I'm not inspired (lol).

My favorite TV Show is back and I'm very much excited. And this is the first time i will cover this show.

The OBB is always amazing I like that aside form the winners, I saw some of the finalist from last season (like Pia, James,Lauren, Casey and Haley!) .

The First stop of the audition was is Savannah,Georgia!

The Premiere is good, there's a lot of great contestant and they gave airtime to a lot of contestant who made it to Hollywood.

So Here's my review of the people who make it to Hollywood :

David Leathers Jr.
He sang Remember The Rain, it was good but i felt his voice was not matured yet. I like his personality though.

Gabi Carubba
She sang Sunday Morning by Maroon 5. I like her, she has this natural voice, the song choice is great and she nailed it. Hope she makes it to the top 24.

Other contestant made it to Hollywood are Brianna Faulk, Neco Starr, Molly Hunt and Elise Testone.

Shannon Magrane
Steven Tyler comments FTW! She sang Something Got A Hold On Me by the Late Etta James. She is brave for singing that song, there is nothing special with her voice it was a little generic for me and it lacks control. BTW, I love her mom.

Amy Brumfield
Ok she lives in a tent. That's the sobbed story. Her voice was not my cup of tea.

Stephanie Renae
She loves Carrie Underwood and she sang Inside Your Heaven. The voice was kinda meh, i think that she's not ready but she has the potential if she wait 2 or 3 years more. Well, she got two Yeses.

Ashlee Altise
OMG! This girl is Crazy. I love her personality, she got the voice and the dance routine was very entertaining.

Schyler Dixon and Colton Dixon (Forced Audition)
Both of them already audition last season. Schyler was cut from Hollywood Week while Colton made it to the Top 40. The girl sang Breakeven by The Script, I think she nailed her audition I liked her tone. On the other hand, the force auditioned Colton sang Permanent by David Cook, it was good nothing extraordinary.

Lauren Mink
She is a teacher for special student, she is so sweet. She sang Country Strong by Gwyneth Paltrow. Her voice is really for Country Genre, and I think she nailed her audition performance.

W.T. Thompson
He got two Yeses. I don't like the audition, it was boring. Sorry!

Brittany Kerr
I don't get why J.Lo. said no to this gorgeous lady. Her audition piece showcase her voice, I love how the way she sings and she is beautiful. Thank You Randy and Steven for saving this girl (LOL).

And The Pimp Spot Goes to...

Philip Philips
He works for his father Pawnshop, Philip sang Superstition which is a little shout but really entertaining. Then he sang Thriller with his guitar which is amazing. This guy will be part of Top 40 or maybe Top 24.

NEXT STOP : Pittsburgh
